From Google Plus: I Am A Writer Not a Guru

It amazes me that so many books about Google+ are coming out. The service has been out for a little over 5 months now. Now I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing to write a How-To about the service, myself and+Robert Anderson are doing exactly that. See +The Definitive Guides To Google+.

How-To books themselves are a good idea for any network. But it’s when people consider themselves “Gurus” in the space then we have a problem.

I love G+, I’m on it everyday. I have 9+k people who follow me, but am I guru? No. I’m an engager, I’m a connector, I’m a person who enjoys (heck loves) the service and has derived lots of benefit from everything and everyone who is on here. But I’m not a Guru.
